Taiwan Hotel collapse
On August 9, 2009, a six-story hotel in Chipen, Taiwan collapsed and fall into the river after typhoon Morakot passed by.
The people were evacuated before it happened.

BUILDING COLLAPSED IN CHINA
Building Collapsed In Shanghai, China (06/27/2009)
At around 5:30am on June 27, an unoccupied building still under construction at Lianhuanan Road in the Minhang district of Shanghai city toppled over. One worker was killed. According to information, a 70 meter section of the flood prevention wall in nearby Dianpu River collapsed and that may have something to do with this building collapse.

AMAZING BIKE BUILT IN CHINA
Chinese Build Amphibious Bike
Dont know what you were expecting, but this is not some high-tech, revolutionary vehicle. Its just an interesting home-made amphibious bicycle.
Li Weiguo is the man who designed and built this floating bicycle, and the girl riding it in the photos is his daughter Li Jin. His amphibious bicycle has eight water buckets that act as pontoons and adjustable vane wheels that provide the driving power. It might not look as good as other custom made bikes, but at least you can ride it on water and land alike, and thats the whole point.
The amphibious bike was presented on May 30 2009, in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
